DAY 1: ARRIVAL
Upon arrival you will be welcomed by a professional driver guide and transfer you to your lodge for overnight accommodation.
DAY 2 : KAMPALA –MURCHISONFALLS NATIONAL PARK
Morning after breakfast your will be pick by our driver guide and head for Uganda’s largest national park named after the world’s most powerful falls Murchison falls. Stop at ziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking after continue to the of the falls an to the lodge for overnight
Day 3: GAME DRIVE MURCHISOPN FALLS AND BOATCRUISE ON THE NILE
Mornng after a warm up coffee, Enjoy an early morning game drive in the northern part of Murchison falls National Park in search of animals like the, hyenas, leopards, jackals, lions, buffaloes, Uganda Kob , elephants and much more. In the afternoon take a launch cruise along the Nile which will take you to the bottom of the falls where you will have an opportunity to see water animals like the hippos, the crocodiles, the buffaloes and plenty of birds including the endangered and popular shoe bill.
DAY 4: TRANSFER TO KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
Morning after breakfast,drive to Kibale national park through remote villages and tea plantation all the way to fort portal and then to Kibale forest national park. This park is known for the highest concentration of primates one of them being the chimpanzees which are more closely related to man than another creature alive.
DAY 5 : CHIMPANZEE TREKKING AND BIGODI SWAMP WALK
Morning after breakfast head for the park’s Headquarters for briefing before embarking on chimpanzees trekking. This is a thrilling moment to come face to face with the chimpanzees in their natural setting. Besides the Chimps, you will see other primates like the Red tailed Monkeys, Black and white Monkeys, Blue Monkeys and many others. You will spot thousands of butterflies and different bird species in the park. In the afternoon visit the Bigodi wetland sanctuary a beautiful birding destination with over 200 recorded species and about 8 primates species.
DAY 6: TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park through the kasenda craters. You will also have a view of the misty Ruwenzori Mountains. Watch out for the beautiful scenes enroute. You may spot a few animals as you enter the park.
DAY 7 : GAME DRIVE AND BOAT CRUISE ON THE KAZINGA CHANNEL
Have an early morning breakfast and set off for in the kasenyi plains in search of lions, leopards, hynas, herds of elephants, buffaloes, Ugandan Kob, warthog, and various bird species. Get your camera ready to take great pictures that will make your safari memorable. Return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch. Afternoon go for a boat ride where you may see animals like hippos thrashing the water, crocodiles basking in the sun, Elephants and buffaloes coming for water and others will be seen at a distance. You will spot various species of birds that are rare to find anywhere in Africa.
DAY 8: TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National Park via the Ishasha sector in search of the tree climbing lions. Enjoy the scenic views of bwindi mounntains and the terraced hills.
DAY 9: GORILLA TREKKING
Morning after breakfast, head to the park offices for briefing about the dos and don’ts of the forest. Don’t forget to carry your packed lunch, cameras, water, rain jackets, long pair of trouser and hiking boots and other gears you need for hiking. When you meet the gorillas, you will watch them for one hour and after return to the park office for debriefing. Depending on the time and ability when you get back from the trekking you may take a community walk around the surrounding communities, or go fortake crafts shopping.
DAY 10: TRANSFER TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK
transfer to lake mburo national park reaching there in the afternoon. Do an afternoon boat cruise on lake mburo where you may spot some hippos and crocodiles hippos and don’t miss out on the birds.
DAY 11: MORNING GAME WALK AND LATER TRANSFER TO KAMPALA OR ENTEBBE
Wake up early for a morning game walk. This walk get you to a close encounter with wild animals like zebras,giraffes, impalas, elands and much more. After the walk,returned to the lodge for the late breakfast and thereafter check out and drive to Kampala or Entebbe. Stopover at the equator where you may have an opportunity to take pictures standing in two hemispheres at the same time. Time allowing you may also stopover at Mpigi royal drum maker and watch the royal drums being crafted.
