Volunteer Opportunities

Embrace africa Gorilla Vacation is a socially responsible Safari company that encourages all our clients to have something to give and share so that your safari and stay in Uganda is rewarding. We provide volunteer opportunities and placements for those interested in sharing their skills while in Uganda and or give out something to those who rely need it.

Most of our safaris start from Entebbe town and go to west or south western Uganda and as such we have partnered with several projects in Entebbe and south western Uganda to provide you with volunteer opportunities while with us on your tour. We encourage our clients to share their skills with projects we support. Are you a teacher? A Computer specialist? A doctor? Surely there is something you know that can impact on lives of Ugandans. You can spend half or full day teaching in one of the schools that we support. (This may include teaching pupils songs, computer or your native language which could be English or French). Those who would like to spend time with babies or orphans, please let us know so that we place you in our selected orphanages in Entebbe, Kabale or Buhoma region of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

We know that there some items that you no longer use such as shirts, trousers, shoes, books among others. If you can pack some of these items, you will realize that there people here who will appreciate your gesture once they receive them. Our vehicles always have enough space to carry such items and by distributing such items most especially in rural areas of Uganda, you will have impacted on peoples’ lives positively.

You could choose to volunteer with women or youth groups involved in poverty eradication programs by sharing your skills with them. There is so much to do in Uganda and if you are looking for volunteer opportunities in Uganda, be the first to contact us and we will advise you accordingly.
