Brief history
Kidepo Valley National park is located in the north eastern side of Uganda and is one of the least visited National Park. This is mainly due to the fact that this beautiful national park has been for a longtime been inaccessible due to the insurgency in northern part of Uganda and the presence karimajong armed warriors who neighbour the park. But with the end of rebellion in northern Uganda in 2005 and a successful disarmament of all karimajong warriors by the Ugandan army, peace has returned to the area and kidepo again is open to the world.
